Hello Everyone!

I currently teach Digital Photography and College and Career Foundations at Paloma Valley High School.

Educational Background:

BA in Art Education with a Single Subject Credential in Art CSU, San Bernardino 2006

MA in Educational Administration with Credential, Concordia University 2015

I have been teaching since 2006.

I love building connections with students and watching them fall in love with art.

I previously taught the following: Art I, Art II, Art III, AP Studio Art,

Ceramics, Digital Photography, Middle School Art 6, 7, 8, ELD 2, ELD 3, and College

and Career Foundations for 9th graders.

Over the years I have completed many hours of Professional Development

through The California Arts Project (TCAP) including the Collaborative Design

Institute and I have taught Elementary Adult teachers how to teach art to their students.

I am a Mom of four children, two sons and two daughters.

I have been taking photos since I was a young child with those old wind-up cameras.

After I took college classes in photography and began photographing weddings and events professionally.

In my spare time as an artist, I like to paint with all types of paint,

create mixed media art, draw, take photographs, and more.

I love to travel and explore new places.

In my classroom, we use CANVAS for our Learning Management System.

Canvas is where students turn in photos and assignments.

We also save our photos to Google Drive to create a Digital Portfolio for students to access even at home.

We use Photoshop, Pixlr.com, Lightroom, and other photo editing apps.

Thank you for your time! The best contact is my e-mail.
