What is Community Eligibility Provision?
Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), is a new universal meal program that is part of the National School Lunch and National School Breakfast Program. CEP allows qualifying local educational agencies and schools to offer free breakfast and free lunch at no cost to all students. Families that have students attending CEP school sites are not required to complete meal applications. However, a simple form for funding purposes is required to be completed annually by parents that have students attending CEP schools.
CEP allows students access to FREE nutritious meals for all students everyday. Students that have access to better nutrition tend to perform better academically, have better health, and maintain better school attendance.
Schools participating in CEP within Perris Union High School District :
Pinacate Middle School, The California Military Institute, Perris Lake High School, and Perris High School.
CEP Household Letter
For parents that have students attending any other school within the Perris Union High School District, a meal application must be submitted to determine meal eligibility for Free or Reduced Price Meals.
