CMI Student Enrollment

Last Updated: 1/18/2023 7:12 PM

Thank you for your interest in California Military Institute - home of the Rough Riders!  Are you ready to get more out of your education experience and challenge yourself?  Here are some of the things that make CMI different:

  • We are a college preparatory school, not a boarding school or behavior correction school
  • There is no cost or tuition to attend, including breakfast, lunch, and an after school program
  • Students must qualify based on GPA (2.0 or higher) and behavior (must submit a current behavior report)
  • All students participate in the JROTC program, sponsored by the CA Cadet Corps, focusing on student leadership development
  • Free transportation from multiple locations in Moreno Valley. Contact the transportation department for details (951) 943-6640
  • Open to students in 5th through 12th grade who reside in Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, Orange County, or Imperial County
